This incredible sport of ‘rally car circuit racing’ was invented in the 70s and became hugely popular in the 80s. When GroupB rally cars were banned from competing on Europe.
Competitors and their friends & families come from as near as Trinidad and Jamiaca, as far as the UK, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Austria and more to take part in a week of festivities, including the two days of Rally Barbados.
If you are a motorsport fan, especially a Rally fan, this is truly a weekend in Barbados not to be missed. 30,000 spectators out of a population of 300,000 says it all - this is the biggest spectator sport on the Island.
